Dr. Ryan Pearce, Psy.D.
Dr. Ryan Pearce, PsyD, provides comprehensive evaluations and evidenced-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and applied behavioral analysis (ABA).
He has extensive experience treating those with anxiety-related disorders (e.g., OCD, social anxiety, phobias, panic), comorbid complex medical and psychiatric diagnoses (e.g., chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, diabetes), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In his work with athletes, he teaches skills to manage life stressors and athletic demands, and enhance performance.
Dr. Pearce’s treatment approach is individualistic, comprehensive, and collaborative. It incorporates positive psychology, humanistic psychology, and behavioral therapies to assist the patient in gaining an understanding of how biological, social, and psychological factors influence their health. Through skill acquisition, integration, and maintenance, the patient can improve their quality of life and reach their treatment goals. These goals are achieved over time, with periods of progress and regression. Dr. Pearce educates patients to recognize and appreciate this process, and the milestones in their journey, enhancing the patient’s happiness and sense of progress.
